No Apple CarPlay

I am disappointed that the Cadillac Escalade IQ EV will not support CarPlay. These are features that I enjoy and rely on for my daily driving. I think GM is making a mistake by forcing its customers to use its own infotainment system, which may not be as good or as compatible as the ones offered by other automakers. I mean, come on, in this day and age, you'd think they'd have that covered, right? It's like getting a burger without the fries. What do you guys think of this?

CarPlay is a must for me. Tesla's system is cool and I may try it, but it's only because it's proven for 10 years. I'm not buying a GM car for a while until I see how the UI is.

I know right?! Apple Carplay is a must-have feature for any car. This is a no-go for me.
