Curious About the Escalade’s Executive Row. Still Room for 3?

Stupid Question Time Regarding Executive Row Seating

Alright, Escalade followers, it's time for a maybe not-so dumb question. Though I haven't followed Escalades closely until now, I'm new to them and might want to add one to the garage. My conundrum is that I am considering the Executive Row choice. Looks rather luxurious , but I have one question... does adding the Executive Row option remove the third row?

I would want to keep the three-row arrangement since occasionally I need the extra chairs for friends or family. But I have to consider that should the Executive Row ride two rows. Any advice or wisdom from those who know more?

The Escalade comes standard with three rows, no matter if you go for the Executive row upgrade or not. But if you opt for that upgrade, you’ll score some seriously comfy, adjustable seating and a slicker center console for the middle row.

oh I wasn’t sure if opting for the Executive Row would mean losing the third row entirely! so it’s great to hear that it still keeps the full three-row layout of the car. The idea of having those adjustable seats in the second row sounds super tempting with that center console upgrade, it definitely adds a more premium feel to the ride.

I think it’s an option. particularly if you’re looking for that extra comfort without sacrificing the third row when you need the extra seating. Have you had the chance to experience the Executive Row setup yourself? I’m curious how much of a difference it makes on longer trips or when you’ve got a full car.

executive third row is really marketing by GM to people who get driven around. it is only meant for families of 4 people. With the executive seating you get a 6 inch gap to try and enter into the rear seats which is basically impossible

I have the executive seating option and while it's harder to get into the back seat, I don't use that very often so it's not a big deal. I actually prefer the non-folding 2nd row because it helps keep our dogs in the back when the 3rd row is put down. It is still very spacious for 2 grown adults in the third row, I would not put three adults back there.
