GM is dropping the Ultium name for their electric car parts, but it'll still be used with LG. They might use a new name or keep the parts nameless. This could be because of a new deal with Samsung to make batteries in Indiana. This is after having problems with LG.

It’s interesting that GM is dropping the Ultium name, possibly signaling a shift in strategy with the new Samsung deal.

Dropping the Ultium name could mean they’re planning a fresh approach, especially with Samsung onboard now.
