Hey! I am new here.

It is impressive that the electric Escalade has a big 200 kWh battery and can go about 450 miles on a charge, though it probably weighs as much as a tank. Lol

If I charge it at home during off-peak hours, it costs just over ten cents per mile to drive. That’s not super cheap, but if you compare it to the Escalade V, which gets about 11 miles per gallon, it costs over 36 cents per mile with gas at four bucks a gallon.

So, the electric Escalade is actually a better deal to drive!
What do you all think?

Following up on this, I saw some concerns about the battery weight online.

Hey, welcome ClaraM, I am new here too. The electric Escalade's specs are very impressive, especially the range and battery size. But I am quite concerned about the weight too and how it might affect performance in real-world driving. What do you think?

Thanks and welcome too! Yes, the electric Escalade does have impressive specs, but you're right to consider the weight. Heavier vehicles can impact acceleration and handling, especially in terms of efficiency and range. It’ll be interesting to see how it performs in real-world conditions though.
