Extra storage can easily be added without an internal combustion engine, after all, the "U" in SUV stands for utility.Cadillac.jpg
This trunk, called the eTrunk, provides additional space for storing items that might not fit behind the third row, such two sets of golf equipment. Cadillac claims that the eTrunk provides an additional 12.2 cubic feet of storage capacity.

how I wish that this feature will be made available to future EVs whether it is a sedan or an SUV. the price may be steep but with that storage capacity there are endless possibilities and it is worth spending every penny just to have that comfort, design, and performance all in one.

I would have no problem spending even a bit more just for extra storage. There's something about a vehicle that's spacious enough to fit everything that you needed. No more overthinking or towing a trailer for extra space.

It looks like there is an update as of June 2024 where the range has been updated.

Cadillac just dropped the bomb on their all-electric 2025 Escalade IQ. Honestly, I'm surprised. It's got everything you could want in a luxury SUV: insane range, a massive curved display, Super Cruise, and even bidirectional charging. The performance is mind-blowing too.

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. Check this Cadillac newsroom:
