When Cadillac dropped serious charging specs for the Escalade IQ - 100 miles of range in 10 minutes with DC fast charging what other cars do you think meets the specs?! Curious if anyone has experience with 800-volt charging - is it really that fast? Also wondering how easy it will be to find these 800-volt chargers on the road. Anyone have any insight? This could be a game changer for my family road trips!

The GMC Yukon might be the rival you're looking for, it delivers the same performance as the Cadillac Escalade IQ. It is also difficult to find charging stations capable of offering 800-volt. an 800-volt charger is fast and can lessen the charging time by up to 50%. you might want to reconsider your options as EVs advancement is rapidly accelerating.

The new Escalade IQ isn't just about luxury rides! It's got the Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) charging, so you can send juice back to your house in a blackout, although it requires GM Energy's Ultium Home products which you'll have to spend for separately. Plus, Vehicle-to-Load lets you power your campsite or tailgate with the truck's battery. Just note, the V2H feature comes with a future software update.
